How to Use SCQ Scoreboard
SCQ Scoreboard uses a dual-window setup: a Control Panel for the coach/quizmaster
and a Main Scoreboard for the audience.
A) How to Set Up
The School’s Challenge Quiz Scoreboard works best on a PC or laptop connected to a second screen
(preferably wired).
- Connect the second screen to the PC/laptop (typically via HDMI).
- Set the projection mode to Extend.
-
(Projection modes include PC screen only, Duplicate, Extend, and Second screen only.)
- Open the platform.
- Drag the Main Scoreboard window to the second screen.
- The second screen is an extension of the main display.
- Keep the Control Panel on the main PC/laptop screen for the coach.
-
Teams will see only the Main Scoreboard, while the coach manages scores, timers, visuals, and audio
from the Control Panel.
See the section on "Presenting mode" for a quicker way to set up the scoreboard. Premium users only
